WHAT IS YOUR HAIRTYPE To be able to let your hair grow to maximum lenght, it is very important to use the products that are right for your own hairtype ( or your childs hairtype). To be able to find out what your hairtype is, we have placed some photo's for you to compare. This chart has been made by Stacey, the owner of Blended Beauty. It is with her permission that i have copied the chart and the photo's used on her site. It is very well possible that you notice several hairtypes on your head. many people have that. Most of the time we than choose the products and treatment for the type that is dominant. European hair mostly is sleek and has been categrised as type 1. This kind of hair does not curl. type 2 The exception to the rule!Usually the looser the curl, the less textured the hair and the softer it is. But that is not always the case. This is a perfect example of loose curl with highly textured hair. It is thick, fairly course and dry, but has big loose curls and waves. So each hair type can come in different textures. Sometimes type 4 hair can be very fine and silky, with super tight kinks. This eg. is a textured BB1 but would use product from the BB3 group. Type 4a/b is moslty drier hair than other types. this causes the breakage for this type .Type 4 is also very furlnerable hair and therefor should be treated accordingly. Moisture is very important to this type of hair. We often think that taking care of the hair should be and is done by adding product. It is very important that we also feed our hair and skin from within. a balanced diet and enough water is a good start............................... 3A
